The subject of the contract is civil engineering and pipeline construction services as part of the infrastructure project "Green Octopus Mitteldeutschland (GO!)" of ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH. The project involves the construction of a new underground hydrogen pipeline (FGL702) along the route Wefensleben-Salzgitter with a total length of approx. 68 km in the federal states of Sachsen-Anhalt (approx. 20 km) and Niedersachsen (approx. 48 km). The pipeline is designed as a steel pipeline DN 800 with a design pressure of 84 bar for the transport of hydrogen (5. Gas family according to DVGW G 260). The construction is to be carried out predominantly by open construction within a standard working strip of approx. 32 m (restricted approx. 24 m). Crossings of transport and infrastructure facilities as well as individual bodies of water will be carried out partially by closed construction methods such as pipe jacking, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) or microtunnelling. Special crossings include, among others, railway lines, a federal motorway, federal and state roads as well as bodies of water. The construction includes the establishment of a total of five valve stations, three of which are pigging stations, including associated buildings, enclosures, surface stabilisation as well as technical ancillary facilities such as corrosion protection, grounding and marking equipment. The construction is planned for the period from January 2028 to October 2030; readiness for commissioning is to be achieved by November 2029.
