Deadline passed

Description

The contracting authority shall procure new waste bins in the form of Mini-tower bins with 80L waste containers for use in waste management in the Municipality of Copenhagen. The Mini-tower bin shall be placed in public spaces and function as a practical and durable solution for waste collection in the city's streets and areas. The procurement includes the production and delivery of the Mini-tower bin, including an 80L insert with corresponding axle lifts, which shall ensure that the working environment legislation is complied with. The Mini-tower bin shall contain an 80-litre standard waste container according to Appendix 1 Specification of Requirements. The framework agreement is expected to include at least 2,200 units of complete Mini-tower bins incl. 80-litre EN840 container and axle lifts and up to an expected 3,600 units of complete Mini-tower bins incl. 80-litre EN840 container and axle lifts. The estimated figures are not binding. The framework agreement also includes an option for the following spare parts during the contract period: 80L standard waste container (EN840) (1,000 units), axle lifts (500 units), T-handle (250 units), mounting of axle lifts on delivered 80L waste containers. The contracting authority has not divided the framework agreement into sub-agreements, as the contracting authority assesses that economies of scale can be achieved by not making a division. It is assessed that it would be economically disadvantageous to distribute initial costs across several sub-agreements and thereby several production processes. The delivery speed requirement is set out in Appendix 6 Delivery Plan. The contracting authority wishes to enter into a framework agreement with a supplier who has experience in the production and delivery of comparable complete outdoor waste containers suitable for placement in the public urban space and for handling waste in the city's streets and areas. A successful collaboration presupposes that the future supplier ensures to have the necessary production and quality-related competencies to produce and deliver up to an expected 3,600 units of complete Mini-tower bins. Furthermore, it is decisive that the future supplier has the logistical capacity to deliver comparable urban equipment in the scope and with the delivery speed that is comparable and necessary for the implementation of the framework agreement's delivery plan, according to Appendix 6.
