The city of Hanau plans to expand the 2-track Eichendorffschule in the Großauheim district as part of the school development plan, including a replacement building for administration and the expansion of the all-day area. The project involves the expansion and functional reorganisation of the school. According to the space programme, the new building should include various room uses such as a library, multi-purpose canteen including kitchen, and differentiation rooms. In addition, the new building must include the complete administration with additional ancillary rooms and meeting rooms. The existing administration building is not to be retained. The administrative areas are an essential part of the new building. The planning for the construction measure is to take place in 2026. The start of construction is planned for mid-2027, with completion scheduled for mid-2029. Planning services are required for this, which are to be awarded according to HOAI 2021, Part 3, Building Planning, §33 ff in conjunction with Appendix 10.
