Design contest on « sketch + » for the rehabilitation of the Archaeological Museum of LAON and its reserves. The present contest is a restricted « sketch + » contest organised in accordance with the provisions of Articles L. 2125-1 2°, R. 2162-15 to R. 2162-26 and R. 2172-1 and following of the Public Procurement Code. Upon completion of this contest, the President of the CAPL may award a design contract without prior publicity or competition with the winner or one of the winners of the contest, in accordance with the provisions of Article R. 2122-6 of the Public Procurement Code and the delegation granted for the duration of the term by resolution 6 of 15 April 2026. Essential elements of the programme: The Client wishes to award a contract for a design mission covering the rehabilitation of the Archaeological Museum of Laon and its reserves, with a view to transforming the establishment into a major cultural and tourist hub for the Pays de Laon, with three priority objectives: - Protect and preserve the collections under good conditions, with the creation of new reserve spaces in the acquired building and the redevelopment of existing spaces; - Rethink the visit route to make it more innovative, educational and fun; - Strengthen the museum's attractiveness to make it a major tourist tool, including the creation of new public reception spaces, a multi-purpose space and a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions and making the whole accessible to people with reduced mobility. The programme also provides for the landscaping of the outdoor spaces. The part of the financial envelope allocated to the works is 4 270 000 € HT, including 950 000 HT allocated to the scenography of the visit route, as of September 2025.
