Finland – Financial and insurance services – Hankintailmoitus: LapIT Oy:n vakuutusturvan hankinnan kilpailutus

LapIT Oy (hereinafter the Contracting Authority) requests tenders for insurance coverage and related services in accordance with this tender request and its annexes. The insurance coverage and its scope are described in the annexes to the tender request. The first insurance period is 1.1.2027-31.12.2027. After that, the insurance period is the calendar year. The tender is submitted from the full calendar year (2027). LapIT Oy has the right to re-tender the insurance during the insurance periods and transfer the insurance to the winner of the tender. The insurances are in force for the time being. The procurement contract period is three (3) years, after which LapIT Oy has the right to extend the contract period by one (1) two (2) year option period. After the option period, LapIT Oy has the right to continue the procurement for the time being as an option period. Additional procurement possibility: LapIT Oy reserves the right to extend the contract if it is based on conditions known during the procurement process and mentioned in the procurement documents or conditions related to their amendment, regardless of their financial value, and these conditions are clear, precise and unambiguous, and they do not alter the general nature of the procurement contract (1397/2016, Chapter 14, Section 136, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 1); or if it is necessary for the original contracting partner to carry out additional work or services or additional deliveries that were not included in the original contract, and if changing the contracting partner is not possible for economic or technical reasons and would cause significant harm or significant additional costs for the procurement unit (1397/2016, Chapter 14, Section 136, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 2). LapIT Oy is a Northern Finnish ICT infrastructure and basic IT services provider for its owners. Our owners include municipalities, well-being areas, municipal and well-being area federations and municipally-owned limited liability companies in Northern Finland. LapIT Oy is obliged to tender the services it needs from the market in accordance with the procurement law. The tendering of the procurement is an EU threshold-exceeding service procurement in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (Act on Public Procurement and Concessions 1397/2016).
