The BG Kliniken plan to introduce integrated cloud solutions to manage investments within the construction and real estate development portfolio. The aim is to transition the currently predominantly Excel- and document-based processes into a consistent, multi-period capable and audit-proof system landscape. Investment management includes several planning levels - from strategic perspective planning until 2047, through medium-term financial management (five-year periods with outlook) to operational management of measures, costs, and funding. These levels are currently only partially systemically linked. The planned solution is to integrate these levels, create transparency, and ensure compliance with binding financial frameworks. KRITIS The BG Kliniken are classified as critical infrastructure for healthcare provision and are thus a KRITIS operator. They are therefore subject to the corresponding requirements (KRITIS, NIS2). These requirements also apply to service providers who provide applications to the BG Kliniken and handle hosting (SaaS) for them. Service providers in the SaaS/Cloud sector must therefore meet the same requirements that apply to the BG Kliniken as operators of critical facilities.
