Germany – Construction works for plants, mining and manufacturing and for buildings relating to the oil and gas industry – TNW Los-5 Wärmespeicher Kombiprojekt Mecklenbeck

The Stadtwerke Münster GmbH intends to construct a free-field solar thermal plant (ST plant) in the Münster-Mecklenbeck district to support the existing district heating network of the city of Münster. The Kombiprojekt Mecklenbeck includes the planning and tendering of a free-field solar thermal plant and a free-field photovoltaic plant (PV plant). The ST plant will be constructed with an approximate gross collector area of 85,000 m² on a free field of about 19 ha. In addition, a PV plant will be installed, which is mainly designed to cover own consumption.
