The municipality plans to build a new three-stream primary school at the school and sports site at "Am Stadion" in Teutschenthal. The school site in Teutschenthal consists of a secondary school, a primary school, a nursery building, and a school sports hall. Due to capacity reasons, the current primary school is temporarily located in the secondary school building of the Saalekreis district (not under the municipality's management) and, since 2021, additionally in a two-storey interim building. The construction project involves the new build of a primary school with a canteen and auditorium, a kitchen, multi-purpose rooms, and outdoor facilities. The primary school Teutschenthal "Am Talkessel" is to educate up to 300 children once the new build is complete.
