The construction, rehabilitation and operation of electricity transmission works are likely to affect natural environments and associated heritage. This is why RTE ensures that legislative and regulatory requirements are taken into account in the development of its projects. The present consultation is organised for the award of a local regulatory monitoring contract consisting of: - collecting regulatory texts relating to the environment from the Prefectures (and from the Town Halls for certain particular texts) - analysing the requirements applicable to RTE from the texts collected - integrating the data into an existing RTE IT tool The monitoring areas identified as major for RTE's activity are: - ecologically sensitive areas - vegetation maintenance date regulations - fire risk prevention - water use restrictions - traffic restrictions - noise and noise pollution
