The Herbolzheim-Wagenstadt primary school was built in the 1960s and consists of a three-story main building without a basement. In 1998, a single-story extension was constructed to the west of the main building; at the same time, renovation work was carried out in the main building. The primary school is being comprehensively renovated and refurbished over a period of approximately 1½ years. The existing building is being given an additional attic floor with a gable roof as well as full-surface external thermal insulation composite system with a ventilated facade. The roof structures of the existing building and the new buildings are planned as prefabricated roof elements and are to be designed so that the elements can be lifted and installed directly by crane at their respective installation locations. The building will be completely gutted down to the shell and then renovated. To the south of the existing building, a new extension will be constructed using reinforced concrete construction. Inside the building, a new lift will be installed over all floors (ground floor to 2nd floor). For the necessary excavation work, a sheet piling solution is planned to the south and east of the existing building. To the north of the existing building, a new staircase will be constructed in reinforced concrete construction, which serves as a second means of escape. Access to the new attic floor is via this staircase. Both extensions are not underpinned and will receive a pile foundation. When creating the excavation pits, the stability of the existing building must be ensured. The subject of the tender is carpentry work for the renovation and extension of the Wagenstadt primary school in Herbolzheim. The services include asbestos removal, demolition and dismantling work on existing roof structures as well as the production of timber structures for gable, lean-to and flat roofs, gable wall constructions, insulation, boarding and fitting work including associated roof structures and ancillary services. The execution period is planned from week 19 to week 29 in 2027. The dates and deadlines will be agreed with the construction management.
