Description
This contract is issued by AZ Klina, a non-profit organisation, Augustijnslei 100, 2930 Brasschaat, KBO nr. 0434.302.850, hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority and AZ Klina. For more information about AZ Klina, the website can be consulted: https://www.azklina.be. Location: medication distribution in AZ Klina. The medication distribution in AZ Klina currently takes place entirely on the basis of manual picking. From the central hospital pharmacy, medicines are delivered to decentralised stocks and on behalf of the patient for the planned administrations. Most departments have a decentralised stock. A number of departments are centrally supplied. In the future, the hospital wants to continue to evolve towards a mix of central and decentralised distribution. It is therefore intended that the system offered in this contract can deal with this flexibly. Purpose of the contract: automation of the central pharmacy. AZ Klina wishes to purchase equipment and software to automate the processes of medication distribution in the central pharmacy as much as possible. The control of the automatic warehouse and the automatic picking is done by a central software package offered by the bidder. The processes that can be automated are: • Storage in an automated warehouse upon receipt of the medication • Automatic FMD scanning (if applicable) • Delivery of the service stocks (decentralised stocks) (full packaging or unit dose packaging) • Patient-specific picking and delivery (unit dose packaging or full packaging (in case of expensive medication for outpatient delivery)) • Guided picking for delivery of products that are not stored in the automated warehouse. To limit manual actions and data entry, data exchange between the different systems is crucial, in particular between the automated warehouse and Chipsoft HiX (hereinafter “HiX”). Maximum traceability of the medication from receipt to delivery is essential. AZ Klina wishes to purchase a user-friendly, high-performance and redundant total solution, for an efficient, patient-safe and controlled medication distribution at service and patient level.
