The reason for the procurement procedure for the technical equipment is the new construction of the primary school with a double sports hall in Schwäbisch Hall. The starting point was: - primarily the urgent need for expansion and the need to replace the existing site at Wirtsgasse. - The expanded tasks of the school result in changed space requirements - not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively. - These challenges can be described with the following key topics: experience-oriented learning, individual support and differentiation, full-day care, inclusion, staff development, communication, balance of rest and movement, counselling, integration of extracurricular partners, and others. - On the other hand, the new school building in combination with a sports hall, with offers going beyond classical education, offers a great opportunity for more networking and interaction in the district. To achieve the best possible architectural and urban planning solution for the new building, the municipal council decided to carry out an architectural implementation competition. The competition procedure was completed with the jury session on 20 May 2025. The architectural firm a+r Architekten GmbH emerged as the winner from the procedure. The municipal council has meanwhile commissioned the architectural firm a+r Architekten GmbH with the further planning services of the building planning according to § 34 HOAI. For the further implementation of the construction measure on the basis of the existing competition or preliminary design planning, further planning services are now required. Allocable costs Heating, Ventilation, Sanitary: Primary School approx. 3,7 million Euro net. Double Sports Hall approx. 734,000 Euro net. The date for the negotiation talks is scheduled for weeks 19-20.
