The Magistrat der Stadt Bensheim already operates a virtualisation infrastructure based on VMware Cloud Foundation. In 2023, the corresponding VMware licenses and the associated Dell VxRail P675F hardware were procured for this purpose. The current license period ends in December 2026. Therefore, the subject of this tender is the extension of the VMware Cloud Foundation licensing for a further three years. The existing Dell VxRail P675F server hardware continues to meet the existing performance requirements and is to be operated unchanged. Therefore, no new procurement is planned for the hardware. Additionally, the existing Dell ProSupport Plus and 4Hr Mission Critical VSAN ELA is to be extended for a period of one year.
