The subject of the present procurement procedure is the introduction of a central, site-independent PACS as the future uniform platform for storing, managing and providing medical image data. The central PACS is to be designed in such a way that, in the long term, all facilities of the BBT Group can access it and a consolidated, shared image data base is created. In this context, it is planned to gradually replace and completely decommission the PACS systems previously operated locally at the individual sites.
