Germany – Guidance and counselling services – Servicepoint Gesundheit nach § 44a SGB II und § 32 SGB III

New Paths Kreis Bergstraße -Communal Job Centre-, an approved communal body under the Social Code Book Second Book (SGB II), plans to award a Servicepoint Gesundheit (SPG) at the locations Heppenheim (Lot 1) and Viernheim (Lot 2). The Servicepoint Gesundheit supports the integration specialists of the contracting authority in clarifying health-related issues that are relevant for integration into work, the determination of employability according to § 44a SGB II, and the assessment of vocational integration prospects. The aim of the Servicepoint Gesundheit is the professional assessment of health limitations and their effects on performance, resilience, vocational suitability, integration capability, and the appropriateness of certain activities or measures. In addition, recommendations for suitable health-promoting, rehabilitative or integration-supporting support services should be issued. The service includes in particular: • social medical examinations, • psychological and psychiatric diagnostics, • expert opinions based on file records, • clearing procedures for complex health-related issues, • advisory services for integration specialists, • recommendations for health stabilization and vocational integration. At the location Heppenheim, entitled persons from the areas of responsibility of the Bergstraße and Ried offices are cared for. At the location Viernheim, entitled persons from the areas of responsibility of Odenwald and Viernheim are cared for.
