For the implementation of the extension of the Kita Karlshausen, a specialist planner for Technical Building Services is sought for phases 1-9 of the service. The local community of Karlshausen, as the host municipality, and the local communities involved in the KITA intend to extend the 2-group childcare centre at its current location by a 3rd group according to the current space programme of the Bitburg-Prüm district administration. The single-storey building is located on the property of the municipality of Karlshausen, parcel 5, parcel no. 63/11 (Auf dem Garten 10) in the unplanned inner area of the municipality of Karlshausen. The building was constructed in 1980 using solid construction methods and extended by one group in 2012. The planning and objective is to extend the KITA by a 3rd group during ongoing operations (without relocations) and to include a kitchen (fresh kitchen) and a multifunctional room that can be used as a dining hall in the planning. Currently, the building is heated with a pellet heating system from 2014 and is to be heated in the future with space-saving regenerative heating technology including a PV system. The extension is to be carried out on the existing property according to the preliminary design plan.
