The railway lines, which are under the administration or management of CNCF „CFR” SA, must permanently ensure safety conditions for train circulation at the set speeds. To maintain the railway lines in optimal operating conditions, periodic repair and maintenance works are necessary, among which the operations of profiling the ballast prism play a particularly important role. The role of these works is to uniformly distribute the ballast along the railway and to clean the platform and the sleepers of the excess ballast. These works are carried out with complex and specialized heavy railway machines for profiling the ballast prism on main and sidings, with a particularly important role being played by the high-productivity profiling machines type SSP 2005 SWR. The SSP 2005 SWR profiling machines are designed for ballast prism profiling works of the railway lines, ensuring the transport of the ballast from areas with excess ballast to areas with deficit. Through a brush, made of flexible rubber tubes, the excess ballast is entrained towards the conveyor belts of the machine and is distributed on the lateral parts of the prism or stored in a hopper and unloaded in areas with a deficit of ballast. At the same time, through the brushing operation, the elimination of the excess ballast from the level of the sleepers and the fastenings is pursued, so that the state of the sleepers and the fastening elements can be observed. The brush made of rubber tubes represents an assembly of rubber tubes of different lengths, mounted on a tubular support that is set in rotational motion through a hydraulic motor. With such a brush, the brushing of approximately 60 km of railway prism is ensured. Currently, CNCF „CFR” SA has 8 profiling machines type SSP 2005 SWR in operation, machines that are highly demanded in the repair and maintenance works of the railway lines. The contracting entity will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarifications/additional information regarding the award documentation: by the 12th day before the deadline for submission of tenders.
