Luxembourg – Engineering works and construction works – Réaménagement de la Gare de Bettembourg – Saut de mouton ouvrage d’art OA3

The present contract concerns the construction of a road underpass, integrated into the new diamond interchange located south of Bettembourg station. The latter aims to eliminate the crossing between the Bettembourg–Dudelange line and freight trains coming from the west of the country, bound for the Bettembourg marshalling yard. The works include the demolition of the existing overpass located at P.K. 1.300 of the Bettembourg-Dudelange line, the preliminary relocation of networks, the on-site prefabrication of the new reinforced concrete underground structure followed by its jacking under the railway tracks, and the implementation of access ramps cast in place. The contract covers civil engineering and technical engineering services. Given that the works are carried out in a railway environment and are dependent on railway blockades, adherence to deadlines, operational coordination, and work safety rules is a determining factor for the successful execution of the contract.
