Germany – General construction work for pipelines – Sanierung von FW- Druckerhöhungsstationen

The Stadtwerke Flensburg intend to renovate three out of 13 district heating pressure boosting stations in the 600er line between 2026 and 2027. The aim is to upgrade them for more efficient operation and to maintain the reliability of the future operating mode (as long as possible with a maximum supply temperature of 95°C) of the pressure boosting stations. The pressure boosting stations, also known as pump stations, consist of pumps, pipelines, fittings, electrical lines, measuring equipment, ventilation systems, switchgear cabinets, and structural fastenings. The pump stations include at least two pumps, one of which is for redundancy. The following pump stations are to be renovated first: Pump station Südermarkt: The pump station Südermarkt, located under the Südermarkt, has 4 pumps. The pressure is boosted for the 600er line a) towards Angelburger Straße DN 350 and b) towards Dr. Todsen Straße DN 500. Pump station Hafenspitze: The pump station Hafenspitze is the first pressure boosting station in the 600er line after the power plant, consisting of 2 pumps. The Hafenspitze pumps towards Lautrupsbach into one of two DN 400 lines towards Glücksburg. Pump station Alter Weg: Further along the route to Glücksburg is the flow pressure boosting station DN 250 Alter Weg with 2 pumps.
