Germany – Urban planning services – Stadtteilmanagement: Zukunft Solingen Wald 2030 - Integriertes Stadtteilentwicklungskonzept (ISEK) für Solingen-Wald

Stadt SolingenGermanyPublished on Oct 08, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The City of Solingen is seeking a neighbourhood management service for the Wald district in the northern part of the city. The neighbourhood management service will act as a local point of contact to support the implementation of individual measures of the ISEK (e.g. discretionary fund and courtyard and facade programme), and at the same time, it will take on an important interface function between the administration and the actors in the neighbourhood. The goals of the neighbourhood management service include, among others, the realisation of active and focused neighbourhood work, the targeted strengthening and stabilisation of the existing networks in the neighbourhood, and the support of the locally engaged volunteers. In this way, the individual actors of the neighbourhood as well as the citizens should ultimately be actively involved in the implementation of the ISEK. Against this background, the neighbourhood management service should be particularly active in the areas of public relations, marketing and networking, as well as in strengthening and expanding communication structures and supporting voluntary cultural work in the district.
