The subject of the contract is the "Operation, Maintenance, Support and Upgrading of the Digital Platform of the Digital Workforce, as well as the support of the operation of the hosting infrastructures of the existing information systems of the IE, both those installed in the environment of the Authority (on-premises) and those hosted in a public cloud environment." The subject of the contract focuses mainly on: • Upgrading the architecture and modernising the infrastructure, with the aim of reducing costs, increasing reliability and improving performance. • Extending and automating CI/CD processes, to ensure consistent, secure and repeatable development and management flows. • Unifying monitoring, observability and logging, to create a central operational picture and accelerate incident resolution. • Automating operations and enhancing security, with systems that reduce human effort, enhance compliance and improve the maturity of the overall ecosystem. • Gradual transition of on-premises applications and websites to a public cloud environment. The Project is structured in the following Work Packages: • WP1 – Operation, Maintenance and Technical Support Services (Phase A): covers all existing infrastructures throughout the duration of the contract, with quarterly service reports (Deliverables D1.1 and D1.2), which include, for example: preventive and corrective maintenance, update and vulnerability management (patch management), backup and restore, operation monitoring (monitoring, alerting), technical user and administrator support; it also includes on-site support services for twenty-four (24) person-months during the contract (Deliverables D1.3 and D1.4). WP2 – Development and Implementation Actions (Phase B): covers the development of new functionalities and innovative digital actions, as well as the transition of the remaining legacy on-premises application and website infrastructures of the Authority — for example, three (3) — and their hosting and maintenance in a public cloud environment, in two (2) annual cycles (Deliverables D2.1, D2.2).
