The selected municipal sites for the development of a complex for the education and care of children are particularly suitable due to their proximity to the future medical university area and their existing infrastructure. The available site already houses a school building with a temporary container structure that currently expands the already limited space capacities. In addition, two small sports halls and a sports field complement the teaching offer at this location. For the expansion of the space offer for the accommodation of kindergarten and school places, further areas such as a traffic garden, an existing kindergarten building with approx. 200 places and the kindergarten building Haus 2 are available. To develop the available site at Drebkauer Straße into a comprehensive educational and care facility, additional kindergarten places are to be created to ensure the required care capacities.
