The City of Antwerp wishes, in addition to the existing offer of permanent swimming pools, to invest in a more mobile swimming pool. The city is therefore looking for parties that can offer a modular and fully relocatable covered swimming pool that can be easily and quickly assembled and dismantled so that it can potentially be moved to another region in the city. It is intended that the swimming pool could be set up for a certain period of time (+/- 4 months to a season) at a location in the city near various schools. After this period, the mobile swimming pool must be dismantled by the contractor so that it can be reassembled elsewhere in the city by them. The swimming pool is suitable for giving swimming lessons to a full class of schoolchildren. We therefore expect a relocatable swimming pool that is safe, robust and suitable for intensive use. The infrastructure must comply with environmental standards and requirements regarding supervision and water quality as imposed by the Flemish Government. The contractor must have the necessary permits as well as approval from the Agency for Care and Health for the application of the offered system. Maximum use must be made of water saving and water recovery. Monitoring (24/24 and 7/7 registration) of water quality and automatic control must also be present.
