The subject of the present public procurement is for the provision of daily services for washing hospital linen and staff work clothing, including infectious linen, and includes all activities related to washing, thermo-disinfection and chemothermal disinfection with enzyme and oxygen-based preparations; removal of permanently fixed contaminants of biological and non-biological origin; drying and ironing of the washed linen and work clothing; sorting by clinics/departments and packaging in single-use packaging without risk of damage or contamination, labeling of packages; transportation to and from the place of performance for delivery and receipt of the laundry. The services relate to: Hospital bed linen - sheet, pillowcase, blanket, pillow, duvet, light blanket; Surgical linen - surgical sheet, surgical vaginal sheet, surgical swab with hole, surgical swab without hole, surgical drape, surgical tunic, surgical pants; Medical work clothing - apron, tunic, pants, gown; Baby linen – sheet, pillowcase, blanket, diaper, cover for incubator, light blanket, duvet, bibs, bodysuit, pants; Infectious linen – protective clothing, hospital bed linen and medical clothing; Other - table covers, napkins. Pursuant to Article 80, Paragraph 1 of the Public Procurement Act, in connection with Article 12, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the Act on Public Procurement, the public procurement is reserved for participation by specialized enterprises or cooperatives of persons with disabilities who meet the conditions under Article 12, Paragraph 5 and Paragraph 6 of the Act on Public Procurement. Other interested parties may participate in the procedure for awarding the reserved contract, but their offers will only be considered if there are no admissible offers from the persons under Article 12, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Public Procurement. The performance of the contract is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Ordinance No. 12 of 16.11.2018 on the health requirements for public laundries and Ordinance No. N-4 of 30 March 2026 on the organization of the prevention and control of infections related to medical care and of the contracting authority, as specified in the technical specification. The estimated daily quantity of laundry is around 200 kg and the estimated quantity for 24 months is around 150,000 kg. The quantities are indicative and depend on the volume of the contracting authority's activities. The collection of soiled laundry and the delivery of clean laundry is carried out in the building of „СБАЛАГ - Майчин дом" EAD, Sofia, "Zdrave" Str. № 2, laundry reception office, ground floor, loading entrance.
