Belgium – Sensors – People Flow Monitoring

Brussels Airport Company (BAC) intends to conclude a framework agreement for the supply, implementation and support of a People Flow Monitoring (PFM) solution for all relevant use cases within the airport environment. The framework agreement includes the supply of hardware and/or sensors, as well as the associated software, integrations, implementation services and support services. The initial scope focuses on the monitoring of core processes such as check-in, security screening/connectors and curb-to-gate flows. The framework agreement may also provide for future extensions, including the integration or replacement of existing People Flow Monitoring touchpoints, expansion to additional terminal zones and support for major infrastructure projects. The PFM solution must at least provide operational process monitoring and end-to-end journey and flow monitoring, and must provide BAC with high-level insights into, among other things, traffic and arrival patterns, route and movement analysis, dwell and waiting times, occupancy per zone, throughput times, queue dynamics, behaviour analysis, flight-based insights and passenger segmentation.
