This procurement is carried out for Logius and relates to application services for the Message Box for Citizens and Entrepreneurs (BBO). The Message Box is the personal mailbox where citizens – and in the future also entrepreneurs – receive digital mail from Recipients (organisations with a public task or authority). The digital mail consists of, among other things: tax returns, allowances, passport renewal and APK reminder. The Government chooses to use the Message Box because it is safer than email. The Message Box is accessed via www.mijnoverheid.nl and the mobile app. There are more than 11 million active accounts on MijnOverheid.
