Finland – Construction work – Imatran paloaseman IV-urakka, sivu-urakka (IU)

The South Karelia Wellbeing Services County requests tenders for the IV subcontract of the Imatra Fire Station (subcontract). The construction site is the fire and rescue station to be built in the Korvenkannan district of Imatra, South Karelia, for the South Karelia Wellbeing Services County. In addition, the property will have spaces built for the use of the Southeast Finland Police Department, storage and garage buildings, and a mobile, container-type standby power unit. The site will also be used by the South Karelia Wellbeing Services County's emergency medical services and the Tainionkoski Volunteer Fire Department. The address of the site is Piikatu 4, 55120 Imatra, where a derogation permit has been granted for the construction area. It is particularly important to note that the construction area is located in a critical groundwater area. The contract type is a divided contract, in which all the building, HVAC, electrical, and earthwork tasks specified in the plans will be completed. The main contractor for the project will act as the main contractor and the principal designer as defined by law, and will appoint a corresponding site manager. The subcontracts will be assigned to the main contractor under a subcontract assignment agreement. The subcontracts are the HVAC contract (piping and cooling contract), IV contract, electrical contract, and building automation contract. The subcontract agreements will be concluded in the name of the contracting entity. The procurement unit has reserved a total of 8 200 000 euros for the entire procurement, which includes the main contract, all assigned subcontracts, and the Contracting Entity's procurements. The site will handle a large amount of TLIV-classified material, so the main contractor must ensure that the site has facilities where the handling of classified material is possible. All contractors' own office spaces must also meet the same requirements. Additional information about these facilities can be found in Appendix 5 of the Security Agreement – "Requirements for the Information Processing Environment". The site plans are classified regarding the police premises. The technical documents related to the police premises show the number of premises and the itemised lists of building and technical building products. If desired, the tenderer may visit the completed plans for the police premises on week 8.7.2026 from 8 - 16. Location: Lappeenranta Government Office, Villimiehenkatu 2b, lobby, from where tenderers will be directed to the actual tender room.
