Belgium – Restaurant and food-serving services – Concessie voor de uitbating van het restaurant van het Koninklijk Museum voor Midden-Afrika

Musée Royal de l’Afrique CentraleBelgiumPublished on Feb 15, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The museum's restaurant is primarily "the museum café", a friendly space where visitors — particularly families — can take a break, meet up before or after their visit, or have a snack. However, it is also open to the general public, including those who do not visit the museum. The establishment offers a complete range including snacks, salads, breakfasts, daily specials and more elaborate menus. The menu, varied and regularly renewed, prioritises quality, seasonal products, and those from short supply chains where possible. It is designed to meet the expectations of an international and multicultural public, while remaining accessible to the many students and families visiting the museum. Special attention is paid to the inclusion of African dishes, in line with the museum's identity. The restaurant aims to be a welcoming place for all ages and cultures. It provides adaptations for children, people with disabilities and seniors, so that everyone feels comfortable. Finally, the museum staff (approximately 200 people) have the option to go to the museum restaurant. A discount offer or a specific formula will be introduced for the AfricaMuseum staff and its partners. See tender documents.
