This contract provides support according to the Capacity-as-a-Service (CAAS) model for a period of two years, with a possible extension of a further two years. This model offers flexible deployment of specialised capacity, with support provided at the moment it is needed, without having to estimate in advance how much work or capacity will be required. It is particularly suitable for tasks where the scope and timing are difficult to predict, and where it is essential that technical tools, databases and models are kept permanently up-to-date or prepared to be quickly deployable.
