In advance of the structural restoration of the West Wing of Schloss Friedenstein in Gotha, protective measures on damaged plaster and stucco areas as well as on gilding on wooden beams, restorative dismantling for construction clearance, the packaging, internal transport and storage of valuable fitting elements, as well as the execution of further construction-accompanying restoration measures will be necessary. The documentation and mapping of own services is part of the contract. The restorative partial dismantling of a classical chandelier is to be coordinated as a subcontractor service by the Contractor. The tender is addressed to academic restorers from the field of mural painting/plaster/stucco as well as, with regard to the conservation of gilding and the dismantling, to restorers with experience in handling historical interior fittings.
