Germany, Czechia – Railway passenger coaches – MPr2031 - Reisezugwagen für München - Prag

The Länderbahn GmbH DLB ("DLB") and the České dráhy, a.s. ("ČD") intend to jointly procure rail vehicles (passenger coaches) for use in cross-border rail passenger transport on the Munich-Prague route. The rail vehicles must meet all the requirements of the SPNV tender of the contracting authorities Bayerische Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH (BEG) and Czech Ministry of Transport (Ministerstvo dopravy České republiky, MD) for the aforementioned route. The current planning of the contracting authorities provides for the start of operations in December 2031. All vehicles must be delivered and fully available at least three months before the planned start of operations. According to the agreement between DLB and ČD, the Act against Restraints of Competition ("GWB") and the Regulation on the Award of Public Contracts in the Fields of Transport, Drinking Water Supply, Postal Services and Energy Supply ("SektVO") shall apply to the tendering procedure. DLB and ČD have commissioned NETINERA Deutschland GmbH to carry out the procurement procedure for the required rail vehicles on their behalf.
