Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Abschluss einer nicht-exklusiven Rabattvereinbarung nach § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V zum Wirkstoff Nifedipin, ATC C08CA05 für die Zeit 01.08.2026 - 31.07.2028 (zzgl. Verlängerungsoption 1x12 Monate)

Section 130a, paragraph 8 of the SGB V enables health insurance funds and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework discount contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, a regular process of substance-related, formal tendering procedures is carried out by the DAK-Gesundheit in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the GWB. For medicines to be specified by the bidder in more detail in Annex 2 to the contract for the above-mentioned substance Nifedipin, ATC C08CA05, the DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude medicines discount contracts with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until the entry into force of new medicines discount contracts. A discount contract under the licensing model for the above-mentioned substance will come into force for the first time on 01.08.2026 and will end on 31.07.2028 (plus extension option 1x12 months). It will automatically end, irrespective of this, with the entry into force of the exclusive contract.
