The framework agreement relates to interior and insulation work on the Royal Danish Navy's ships, and includes ongoing modification and repair work on board the ships. This type of work often needs to be carried out quickly and efficiently, so that the ships' readiness is affected as little as possible. As a result, the Danish Defence needs external assistance for interior and insulation work, which can be initiated at short notice when the need arises. Some of the work will be carried out in cooperation with other types of craftsmen, such as painters, electricians, blacksmiths, scaffolding workers and crane operators. The service consists of repair and modification work on the Royal Danish Navy's ships as well as related access work. Repair work can include the improvement of damage to inventory, repair and replacement of ceiling or lining panels, as well as varnishing tasks on wood. Modification can be changes to current inventory solutions, as well as the manufacture of fittings, bunks, storage solutions, or the installation of finished solutions. The supplier shall provide services within 3D scanning and 3D printing to support measurement, documentation, maintenance and manufacture of components. Access work is defined as activities that enable the primary modifications of fitting on the ship's hull and/or superstructure, i.e. disassembly of components and cables that are in the way of the work and reassembly of the same components as well as restoration of painting. Furthermore, the framework agreement must include derived work activities that are necessary to be able to carry out the actual interior and/or insulation work, i.e. setting up scaffolding and crane assistance etc. It is a requirement that the Supplier is security cleared at company level, and has security cleared personnel to carry out the agreement's tasks, at the time of tender submission. It is not considered that the period from tender submission to the agreement's signature is long enough for missing security clearances to be obtained.
