Framework agreement for services in the field of technical controls of products, materials and assemblies prepared in factories or workshops, prior to their implementation on construction sites carried out on behalf of the SNCB. The sites concerned involve civil engineering works or the implementation of new construction, transformation, extension or renovation of buildings or platforms on the Belgian railway domain, excluding railway infrastructure. The technical controls concern primarily the following products, materials and assemblies: • Structural steels • Aluminium products and aluminium alloys • Anti-corrosion systems • Cast concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete • Composite structures (steel-concrete) • Load-bearing structures for civil engineering works • Expansion joints • Electrical equipment (switchboards, etc.) If necessary, the controls must be based on the results of tests (material resistance, corrosion, etc.) carried out on specimen(s) or sample(s) by one or more independent accredited laboratory(ies). The technical controls relate to productions essentially carried out within the European Economic Area. However, productions carried out outside the European Economic Area remain possible.
