Both the National Food Centre (CNA) and the National Reference Laboratory (LNR), as well as the Marine Biotoxins Laboratory of Vigo (LBM) as the European Union Reference Laboratory, have been entrusted with functions that require the performance of highly complex analytical tests that necessitate the use of reagents, culture media, consumable materials and standards of very high quality due to the extreme specificity and sensitivity required in the applicable analytical techniques. The list of products subject to this supply aims to cover the needs assigned to the CNA as the National Reference Laboratory and the LBM as the European Union Reference Laboratory, as well as for the various studies programmed by the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) and the various food alerts.
