The railway overbridge EÜ Warendorfer Straße is to be renewed as a result of the last regular inspection within the framework of the current bridge programme of the DB InfraGO AG. The measure at the EÜ is necessary to ensure long-term economic and safe operation and traffic safety. The entire measure is to be classified as an EKrG measure; the intersection partner is the City of Münster. The railway overbridge of DB route 2200, km 68.267, crosses the inner-city road "Warendorfer Straße" in Münster. In addition to route 2200, the railway routes 2931 and 2013 run parallel with a total of five track facilities. The platform track 41 of Münster (Westf.) main station crosses the Warendorfer Straße as a prestressed concrete bridge; adjacent to the arch bridge. The railway overbridge consists of two structures with a total width of approx. 33.40 m and a total bridge area of 1,018.5 m². The arch bridge dates from 1890; the prestressed concrete bridge was constructed in 1965. The object, structural and traffic facilities planning (road + rail incl. technical equipment) is to be planned according to the BIM methodology.
