The contracting authority for the project is the TEN Thüringer Energienetze GmbH & Co. KG. This is a regional grid operator. The existing substation (UW) Wolkramshausen is to be demolished and rebuilt in three construction phases on the same site. The construction work advertised here is a partial lot within the framework of the construction of the 110-kV substation with a triple busbar in two blocks (26 switchgear panels and 2 couplings). This tender includes the erection of buildings, foundations, shafts, as well as road and civil engineering work for the entire substation. The following components of the new substation are to be manufactured, among others: - the maintenance building (single-storey, gable roof, approx. 180 sqm) - the medium-voltage building (single-storey, gable roof, approx. 200 sqm) - foundations and shafts (approx. 22 portal foundations, approx. 470 small foundations, approx. 14 lightning protection foundations, foundations for video surveillance, 3 transformer foundations, 1 foundation for the compensation choke, approx. 20 cable pulling shafts, 2 E-coil foundations) - roads, paths and areas (approx. 3000 sqm asphalt areas, gravel areas, paved areas) - outdoor facilities (terraced area to be landscaped, approx. 500 m fence installation) - various cable empty pipe routes, protective pipe routes, media routes for drinking water supply and drainage. The most important points summarised include, among others, the following services: Demolition of old plant - Excavation support - Earthwork - Empty pipe laying - Precast concrete foundations - Concrete and reinforced concrete work - Drainage/ Freshwater main - Raised floor - Steel construction - Sealing work - Surveying - HLS - Building electricity. The construction site consists of the area of the existing 110-kV switchgear and the currently undeveloped immediately adjacent plot of land (agricultural land) and is approx. 325 m long and 85 m wide. The entire system will be converted during ongoing operations, and the construction work and electrical installations will be carried out sequentially, so that the construction of the new system will be carried out in three construction phases. The special feature of this project lies in the parallel construction activities with an extra-regional grid operator at the same location. The site access from L1039 will be used jointly. An increased effort in coordination and agreement is to be calculated. Planned start of implementation: 01.10.2026
