Within the framework of the Data Center Marzahn (DCM) project, the contracting authority intends to construct a waste heat heat pump at the power plant site in Marzahn, Berlin. The waste heat will come from an adjacent (yet to be constructed) data centre. The heat pump will upgrade the waste heat for district heating supply in Berlin and subsequently feed it into the district heating network. With this notice, the contracting authority intends to award a contract for the design, construction, and commissioning of an 110kV grid connection building, as well as a 110kV gas-insulated switchgear for the electrical supply of the heat pump system, various existing systems, and the data centre to be constructed (the heat pump system and data centre are not part of this publication). The requested delivery and service scope includes, among other things: - Primary technology (110-kV gas-insulated switchgear) SF6-free 110kV GIS switchgear with GWP value in accordance with the EU F-Gas Regulation (EU 2024/573) with a short-circuit strength of 40kA/1sec - Necessary secondary technology incl. protection and control cabinets, as well as station control technology and integration into the main control technology at the site - Self-consumption plant grid connection building incl. self-consumption transformers, low-voltage main distribution (LVM) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) - 110-/10-/0.4-kV cable system (to the network node Stromnetz Berlin and new and existing systems on the power plant site) - Building services (incl. foundation and technical building equipment) - Necessary planning services in coordination with the client
