The Municipality of Heusden wishes to offer a bicycle leasing scheme to its employees as an attractive employment condition. Since 1 January 2020, the tax treatment of the lease bicycle ('fiets van de zaak') has been simplified, making it more attractive for employers to allow employees to use it. The Municipality does not yet offer this possibility. With this tender, the Municipality aims to provide for this and to realise a bicycle leasing scheme that meets the needs of employees for sustainable and healthy mobility. There is demand from employees for a bicycle scheme. The Municipality is based on a (Bench) market survey, it is expected that approximately 10% - 15% of employees are interested. With 385 employees, this amounts to between 40 and 50 employees. The figures mentioned are purely indicative for the purpose of making a realistic registration. No rights can be derived from this indication of the scope for the performance of the work, as the municipality does not guarantee a volume or take-up guarantee.
