Germany – Public-service buses – Busbeschaffung Rahmenvereinbarung Elektro Standardniederflurbusse 12 m

The contracting authority and its subsidiaries operate bus lines in public transport (ÖPNV) of various transport associations and communities and carry out school bus services and charter services. The procurement concerns a framework agreement for the call-off of electric vehicles in the calendar years 2026-2028 for the contracting authority and its subsidiaries at the locations of Augsburg and Kaufbeuren. The award of the contract is mainly financed by grants from the special fund "Climate and Transformation Fund" (KTF) of the Federal Ministry of Transport. Therefore, the mandatory deadlines of the project duration must be observed. The mandatory order for subsidised vehicles will be placed by no later than 31.12.2026. The bidder must guarantee and prove by order confirmation the delivery and acceptance of the subsidised buses within the project duration by no later than 31.12.2028. According to the funding application, for the location of Kaufbeuren, an order and delivery of 5 solo buses is planned by 30.11.2027, 5 solo buses by 30.04.2028 and 5 solo buses by 31.10.2028. For the location of Augsburg, an order and delivery of 7 solo buses is planned by 31.05.2028 and 8 solo buses by 30.11.2028. The buyer, however, has a one-time option to extend the framework agreement until 31.12.2029 for an order of possibly non-subsidised buses. The actual call-off quantities during the contract period will be determined in particular by: - the operational and strategic development (e.g. timetable adjustments, fleet strategy), - as well as further economic and organisational framework conditions relevant at the time of call-off. A minimum order quantity cannot be guaranteed for any of the lots. For the standard line buses, a maximum call-off quantity of 30 buses applies. Lot 1: Standard low-floor line buses electric 12 m Augsburg; Lot 2: Standard low-floor buses 12 m electric Kaufbeuren.
