The section Rosenheim - Pilsting (5700) carries the State Road 2352 over railway km 57.214 in the municipality of Mettenheim at Ecksberg, a district of Mühldorf. A widening requirement from the road authority demands a realignment of the road's alignment (currently a Z-curve) and thus a new span of approx. 80 m (currently 8 m) as well as a new clearance height of 4.50 m (currently 3.80 m). The intersection point will remain the same. The substructures will be constructed under the protection of temporary bridges, the superstructure, a steel truss on an empty scaffold over the trafficked road next to the existing bridge in an elevated position. After the railway system is commissioned, the new road will be constructed by the State Building Authority Rosenheim.
