Germany – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Planung und Errichtung eines Wissenschaftszentrums für die Stiftung Deutsches Meeresmuseum in Stralsund

Deutsches MeeresmuseumGermanyPublished on Jul 13, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The German Oceanographic Museum Foundation (DMM) intends to construct a new science centre in the area of the Frankenhafen in Stralsund. The new building will consolidate uses currently distributed across various locations in the city of Stralsund (including collections, workshops and laboratories) and will be supplemented by additional uses, particularly a library and areas for research, teaching and conferences. The consolidation and expansion of different types of use and requirements make this a complex planning and construction task. To realise both the available budget and the specified schedule while maintaining the required structural quality and the complex functional requirements, the necessary planning and construction services will be bundled and awarded to a general contractor or, for example, a consortium of planning and executing companies. Since the specific planning and construction solution cannot be fully described at the start of the procedure, the required services will be awarded through a competitive dialogue with a preceding EU-wide selection procedure under VOB/A EU. The total costs for planning and construction are currently estimated at approximately 16-18 million EUR (gross).
