The system shall support and assist the Kitchens in planning and executing daily food production to meet various requirements in this area. The system is expected to be an essential tool that can create oversight, structure, and smart solutions in a busy day-to-day environment. There is a significant difference in the size of the Kitchens and, consequently, a difference in the resources available to each Kitchen. Many kitchen staff also have limited IT skills. Therefore, it is important that the System is "smart," user-friendly, and intuitive to access, and that it can be accessed according to varying needs. By "smart," it is meant, among other things, whether the System: (1) can substitute or suggest alternative Raw Materials in a Recipe if an item is out of stock, or can provide suggestions for Menu Plans according to the season; (2) can stay updated regarding Raw Materials, prices, nutritional content; (3) can update Data automatically and without manual operation. The Kitchens produce food for elderly citizens with full 24-hour care all year round, 365 days a year. The system therefore has a high criticality in terms of operational reliability and potential downtime, and there is therefore a need for problems and errors to be resolved quickly. The contract is open-ended and runs until it is terminated or ceases in another way.
