For the implementation of the renovation and extension of the Karlshausen Primary School, a planning office for the technical building services is sought for phases 1-9. The Verbandsgemeinde Südeifel is planning the renovation and extension of the Karlshausen Primary School (see Annex 01+02). Based on an existing feasibility study (see Annex 03), it has been decided to energetically renovate the existing building from 1963. Additionally, the building will be extended by an annex for midday catering and administrative rooms. The annex will have a gross floor area of approximately 165 m². The main access to the entire complex will be through the existing entrance with an adjoining large entrance hall. The annex is to be constructed using traditional timber frame construction. The basic plans of the feasibility study are to be taken into account. The implementation will take place mostly during school operations. The interim operation in existing premises of the VG is to be kept to a minimum. Furthermore, a container as a tool storage is required, which should be included in the new open space design. The restructuring of the schoolyard will reduce ground sealing, ensure summer heat protection during breaks, establish a kiss-and-go zone, renovate the staff car park and add a barrier-free parking space.
