Region Jämtland Härjedalen, as the contracting authority, intends to procure a central system for ticket handling for travel in public transport in region Jämtland Härjedalen and region Västernorrland, equipment for ticket handling, and customer-facing systems. The procurement concerns a comprehensive solution for ticket systems and includes all components, including hardware, software, licenses, implementation, and associated sales channels such as web sales and journey planning, on-board sales, agency sales, school tickets, and a mobile app for ticket sales, journey planning, and passenger information. The procurement also includes associated services for remedial and preventive maintenance and support. The provision of the central system is a comprehensive responsibility where the Supplier is responsible for having the overall and complete responsibility for the delivery of IT support. The comprehensive responsibility includes necessary integrations with surrounding systems. The IT support must be designed to, with or without adjustments, meet at any time the applicable laws, regulations, and provisions for the industry for ticket handling in public transport in accordance with the procurement documents. The procurement is of great importance for the Contracting Authorities to be able to realize their common vision for a well-functioning ticket system. The Contracting Authorities seek a long-term partner who, through a high degree of competence and professionalism, contributes with their expertise and takes responsibility for necessary support and technical development during the contract period to ensure a ticket and payment system that at any time functions flawlessly and meets the set requirements and expectations over time.
