Germany – Electrical fitting work – Gebäudeautomation

The Landkreis Nienburg/Weser plans the construction of a new Fire Service Technical Centre (FTZ) in the industrial area of the town of Lemke, Municipality of Marklohe. This is a replacement new build for the existing FTZ on Verdener Landstraße in Nienburg. The space programme comprises approximately 8,200 m² of usable floor space, as well as approximately 9,140 m² of outdoor areas – movement and exercise areas. A construction site of approximately 3.4 ha is available for this purpose. As part of the project, the installation of a building automation system is planned. The building automation includes the automation, room automation and management level for monitoring, controlling, regulating and visualising the technical systems. The project provides for two central automation focuses. In addition, automation focuses will be located in the vehicle hall, workshop hall and logistics hall. For room automation, room automation distributors will be arranged in the respective sub-distribution areas of the electrical engineering. These room automation distributors map the functions of the room automation. The integration of the sun protection drives, window contacts and the valves of the floor heating takes place via I/O modules, which are connected to the room automation distributors. The lighting will be integrated via KNX-DALI actuators, which will be installed in the sub-distributions of the electrical engineering. The respective interfaces and communication paths are to be coordinated accordingly with the trades of electrical engineering and building automation. For the plant engineering, approximately 500 physical data points and approximately 550 shared data points are planned in the project. In the area of room automation, there are approximately 700 physical data points and approximately 2,000 shared data points.
