A detailed description of the subject of the contract – technical specification – is provided in Annex No. 1 to this SWZ. In the event that names of materials, brands, manufacturers or trademarks are used in the above-mentioned Annex to this SWZ, they should be treated as examples, intended to precisely define the subject of the contract, and specifying the technical and quality standard. The Contracting Authority allows the offering of materials or "equivalent" solutions in terms of technical, functional and operational parameters, provided that they ensure the achievement of technical parameters no worse than those set out in this SWZ and its Annexes. In cases where the subject of the contract is described in the above-mentioned Annex to this SWZ by reference to standards, European Technical Assessments, approvals, technical specifications and technical reference systems, the Contracting Authority indicates herewith that "equivalent" solutions are allowed. The Contractor, who refers to "equivalent" solutions, is obliged to demonstrate that the materials offered by him meet the requirements specified by the Contracting Authority in this SWZ and its Annexes.
