The subject of the public procurement is the modernisation of the Komín depot, including the demolition of existing structures and the construction of new operational-technological units. The realisation of the public procurement will take place while the depot is partially operational. In the initial phase of fulfilment, the selected supplier will process the documentation and other necessary materials for the removal of existing structures, including the demolition plan, and will ensure the relevant engineering activities necessary to commence demolition work. Once the conditions necessary for their execution are met, the demolition of existing structures will subsequently begin. Concurrently with the processing of materials for demolition and the execution of demolition work, the selected supplier will process the project documentation for the new construction and perform the related engineering activities. Therefore, the commencement and execution of demolition work will not be contingent upon the completion of the project documentation for the new construction in its entirety. The subsequent part of the subject of the public procurement includes the construction of new operational-technological units and the revitalisation of the existing infrastructure of the site. The modernisation particularly includes the construction of a parking facility for trolleybuses, including the related operational, technical, and administrative facilities for employees, as well as apartments for employees and a parking lot for personal cars. Additionally, it includes the construction of a maintenance and repair hall, encompassing, among other things, a trolleybus wash bay, daily care and cleaning workshop, diagnostic workshops, and maintenance facilities, a central waste management system, an energy centre with a substation, and other related building and engineering structures. The subject of the public procurement also includes the construction of a new fire station JSDH Brno-Komín, the modification of site entrances and traffic connections to Jundrovská and Podveská streets, and the construction of an emergency exit. The aim of the modernisation is, in particular, to increase the capacity of the depot, enhance the operational efficiency of the site, and create modern facilities for the parking, maintenance, repair, and management of trolleybuses. The result of the tendering process is the conclusion of a works contract according to the Contract Conditions for the supply of technological equipment and the design and construction of electro and mechanical-technological works and civil and engineering works designed by the contractor, commonly known as FIDIC YELLOW BOOK, 1st edition, 1999, published in Czech translation by the Czech Association of Consulting Engineers (CACE) in 2015, and other documents constituting the works contract. The contracting authority anticipates the realisation of the subject of the public procurement within the framework of a project co-financed by the Operational Programme Transport 2021-2027. The selected supplier is obliged to proceed in such a way that the stated intention of the contracting authority can be fulfilled.
