Description

Within the scope of this construction measure, new offices and rest areas for the SGM will be created within the building area at Munich Airport. A key objective is the physical separation of the security control area (SiKo) from the adjacent office spaces. The work will be carried out in accordance with the technical guidelines of Munich Airport, the BayBO and the relevant DIN standards.

Description of the natural stone work: The scope of services includes:

- Delivery, transport and proper storage of natural stone materials on the construction site.

- Inspection and preparation of existing substrates for suitability, flatness, load-bearing capacity and residual moisture.

- Creation of necessary levelling and laying substrates.

- Laying of natural stone slabs (e.g. granite, gneiss or comparable high-quality natural stones) using the thin, medium or thick bed method according to the planning documents.

- Exact adherence to the specified laying patterns, joint grids, axes and height connections.

- Creation of movement, edge and connection joints according to technical requirements.

- Cutting to size and fitting to installations, columns, facade connections, doors, escalators, lifts and technical equipment.

- Grouting of natural stone surfaces with suitable, material-compatible grout mortars.

- Cleaning of the laid surfaces and carrying out first-time maintenance and, if necessary, impregnation.

- Protection of the completed surfaces against damage by follow-on trades until acceptance.
