Belgium – Construction work for buildings relating to railway transport – Monceau sur Sambre – Extension et Rénovation d’un dépôt pour matériels roulants historiques

The contract involves extending the existing CHW building in Monceau, a workshop for the restoration of historic trains currently in operation, as well as renovating part of the existing building: 1. The extension of a storage depot for historic rolling stock includes: - An extension of approximately 4,500 m² on the north side of the existing building - An extension of approximately 3,000 m² on the south side of the existing building - A 'box-in-box' type volume for storing 4 royal carriages. The storage area must meet specific climatic requirements to ensure the preservation of the collections (temperature and relative humidity). A non-fossil fuel air-conditioning system is planned for this purpose. 2. The renewal of the existing building's air-conditioning system, without the use of fossil fuels. 3. The energy renovation of an office area in the existing CHW of Monceau, including: - Energy efficiency improvement works on the envelope - Limited interior fittings. The contract includes structural works, finishes, electrical, HVAC, IT, and roads and access.
